Looking to build your career brand? This course introduces you to highly practical ways of creating a positive impression and making a lasting impact at work. You will focus on developing your presentation and speaking skills, communicating with confidence and conviction, and strategies for effective time management to ensure you deliver on your committments, focus on key organizational and team priorities, and achieve results.

Course Curriculum

Part I - Presentation Skills & Speaking Skills

Deliver presentations and evaluate progress to develop and refine skills, techniques, and delivery. Learn how to deliver informative, motivating, and memorable presentations, explore ways to communicate with clarity and conviction, develop scripts that speak the same language as your audience.

Part II - Assertiveness & Confidence with Impact

When people are assertive, they portray a strong, confident image. They can puttheir views across while taking other people’s opinions into account. By contrast, non-assertive, passive-aggressive, or aggressive behaviour can cause misunderstandings, frustration, and even a break down in relationships at work.

This highly practical workshop is packed full of powerful techniques every professional can leverage and apply in a range of situations on-the-job.

Part III - Time Management/Prioritizing Multitasking

By learning about Time Management, we will review a process for prioritizing daily activities that revolve around our goals and objectives, both individual and at the team level. We will learn to recognize what is important/not important and what is urgent as it relates to our overall goal or project. Also, we will learn how to effectively manage time wasters, which clog up our schedules and inhibit our progress both individually and as a team.

To learn how to be busy doing the right things that lead to the accomplishment of your individual, team, and organizational goals and objectives. Experiential learning is knowledge, skills, and abilities attained through observation, simulation, or participation that provides depth and meaning to learning by engaging the mind and body through activity, reflection, and application.
